SPiN exhibited all 4 lines of MA61C universal plug-and-play intelligent data nodes at the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2026 in Antalya, Türkiye, on October 5–9.

During the session “Lessons Learned from the Development and Integration of CubeSat Missions,” Saish Sridharan, CTO and co-founder of SPiN, shared practical experience from missions using MA61C. His presentation highlighted how the technology has simplified satellite design, reduced integration effort, and accelerated development, bringing the benefits of modularity into focus for an international audience.

Throughout the congress, SPiN’s team met with industry stakeholders to explore mission collaborations, payload integration opportunities, and potential cooperation agreements. These discussions established a basis for follow-up work as SPiN seeks to bring its modular avionics solutions to more space missions.

The team also delivered an on-stage corporate presentation during the IAC career session to introduce the company and its vision to the next generation of space professionals, receiving nearly 100 CVs from talented candidates.

As part of its participation, SPiN attended the IAF General Assembly, contributing to the federation’s activities and maintaining its engagement with the wider space community.

Following IAC 2026, the team is developing these new contacts into concrete opportunities for technical cooperation and long-term partnerships. This work forms part of SPiN’s broader internationalisation project, aimed at expanding MA61C’s presence in international markets, supporting sales development, and strengthening strategic relationships.

Acknowledgment of funding

SPiN’s participation was supported by Lazio Innova through the 2026 Internationalisation Voucher. This support enabled the company to pursue valuable international activities that can be challenging for a growing innovative SME to sustain independently. The voucher is funded under the PR FESR Lazio 2021–2027, co-financed by the European Union, the Italian Government, and the Lazio Region.
